A heat pump is a relatively new technology in the UK although they are widely used in Scandinavia and many parts of Europe where there is an abundance of renewably sourced electricity.

A heat pump takes energy from outside and transfers it into heat to be circulated around a heating and hot water system. A heat pump uses electricity to run the components of a heat pump, principally a fan, compressor and circulating pumps to transfer the energy from the heat source into the heat sink or heating system.

Government Funding for Heat Pumps – Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a government incentive that will assist with the upfront cost of upgrading your heating system with one of our air source heat pumps.

In addition, there is now no VAT on heat pumps – reducing the cost even further.

We can apply for the grant on your behalf and you will receive £5000 towards your new air source heat pump installation.

Our Services

All our boilers are A rated and energy efficient. will provide you and your home with heating and hot water at lower costs. If your current boiler is greater than 10 years old it is likely costing a lot to run. You have to have the hot water and or heating dials turned on full, or there are burn marks around your boiler. These are a couple of signs to be replacing it. Choosing one with a longer warranty, built in wi-fi (no extra unsightly cables to and from your boiler) easy to use and quiet when working, would be better for you, especially at an affordable price.

A. Boiler Installation

Your boiler is one of most important and hard-working appliances in your home providing you with warmth and hot water when-ever you need it.

Servicing your boiler annually keeps it running safely and efficiently saving you money on your energy bills and making it less likely to break down in the winter when you need it most.

Our Gas Safe engineers can visit your home and service your boiler in less than an hour.

Amongst other things, we ensure no Carbon Monoxide is being produced, keeping you and your family safe

We check there is adequate ventilation around the boiler and that the flue is clear and;
Test the gas pressure and ensure there are no leaks.

Leaving you with a certificate detailing the results and recommendations, if any. 


B. Boiler Service

Our dedicated repair engineers are here to help get your boiler working and Central heating working safely and efficiently again.

We have highly experienced engineers who can diagnose the problem and in many cases get your boiler back up and running there and then.

Our vans are stocked with the most common parts but rest assured if additional parts are required we have access to a wide range of parts to get your boiler working again as quickly as possible.

Our fixed call out fee covers the first hour of labour which often is enough time to diagnosis many common faults and get your boiler back working again.

Additional labour time and parts are charged separately but our engineer will provide you with a cost estimate once the fault has been diagnosed before proceeding further.
 
All repairs come with a 30 day labour and 1 year guarantee on parts used.

L. General Plumbing

You could have a build up of sludge in your heating system. 

Sludge is the build-up of magnetite which forms as a result of corrosion. Even a minimal build up of sludge can cause a serious drop in boiler efficiency, stopping your heating system from working efficiently and if left untreated is one of the leading causes of boilers failing.

We offer a flushing and cleansing service where we can remove the sludge from your heating system. 

A cleansed system ensures optimal heating from your boiler and provides effective, ongoing protection, extending the life of your boiler, radiators and pipework.

It can also lower your energy usage as your boiler and radiators will work more efficiently afterwards. 


M. Flushing and Cleansing

If you're a landlord, it’s your responsibility to keep your property safe for tenants to live in. By law, you must have a gas safety check carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer every year. When you receive your landlord gas safety record, you’ll need to make a copy available to your tenants. 

Home owners are also advised to have a gas safety check every year. Just to make sure your appliances are safe to use and working efficiently, and more importantly you are safe.

Unless installed correctly, having the right size of pump or Central heating system, you WILL pay more. As an installation company, we always recommend the best appliances for you and give you honest impartial advice.
